The Ragdoll

The Ragdoll

PE Pudding
The Ragdoll cat is said to be named for their tendancy to relax entirely when held.

They are very much people orientated cats and just love to be with you!

They are very gentle, loyal cats and are very laid back - this makes them perfect for households with children and other pets.

They are a large cat with neutered males reaching upto 20lbs and females around 10 -15lbs .
They are muscular with a long body.
Ragdolls are a slow maturing breed, sometimes not reaching full maturity until 3-4 years old.
They are one of the few breeds that gets even more beautiful with age!

The Ragdoll coat is soft and silky, it is full at the ruff and the knickerbockers. They need little grooming - a good groom out once a week is often sufficient.

All Ragdolls have stunning blue eyes, and coats are available in a variety of colours and patterns.

The colours are Seal, Blue Red and Cream, plus Tabby and Tortie and Tortie Tabby points.

The patterns are Colourpoint, Mitted and Bi-Colour.

Ragdolls have little or no preservation instincts and can be targets for cat thieves so they need to be indoor cats.

A Ragdoll kitten should not be left on their own for long periods of time, as they do not cope well with this, therefore I will not sell Ragdoll kittens where they will be alone for long periods of time.

If you want a loving, affectionate and stunning cat to share your life then the Ragdoll is the breed for you, But be warned you will probably find that one Ragdoll is not enough.
